pleasant-valley-arch-clubPROVIDENCE, Ky. (7/24/14)  Pleasant Valley Archery Club held its annual Toys for Tots fundraiser July 12 with 16 shooters raising $115.

In addition to the money, various toys were also donated. One day after the annual toy fundraiser, the Pleasant Valley Archery Club held its regular club shoot. More on the club shoot follows.

In the Pleasant Valley Archery Club's regular club shoot on July 13, it was Men’s Open: first - Justin Mooney, 199; Men’s Hunter: first - James Vandiver, 206, second - Justin Hancock, 187; Men’s Traditional: first - Scott Sanders, 146; Bow Novice: first - Johnny Liggett, 199; Open C: first - Billy Brummett, 180; Women’s Hunter: first - Sandy Bell, 165; Youth Boys/Girls: first - Pate Robinson, 116; Cubs: first - Landon Harper.

Pleasant Valley Archery Club will hold its next club shoot Aug. 9-10. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. on both days.

Spacious Pleasant Valley Archery Club started with a clubhouse and then added an indoor range. The archery club 's indoor range consists of 18 lanes.

Pleasant Valley Archery Club's outdoor range consists of 20 3D targets and 20-, 30- and 40-yard outdoor practice lanes.
