Hopkins County Central StormELKTON, Ky. (9/9/17) — After averaging over 30 points per game through its first three contests, Hopkins County Central was held scoreless for the first time in the 2017 high school football season. Host Todd County Central edged the Storm 6-0 in a high school football game on Friday night.

Following the loss, Hopkins County Central dropped to 1-3.

As a result of the win, Todd County Central moved to 3-0.

Hopkins County Central has suffered three straight losses after walloping Webster County 61-6 in a season opener. The Storm have dropped other games to Ohio County and Muhlenberg County. Despite being 1-3 through its three games, Hopkins County Central boasts a 94-70 scoring advantage over opponents. 

Todd County Central owns additional wins over Breckinridge County and Fort Knox. Through three games, the Rebels have outscored opponents 46-12.

Hopkins County Central will look to return to the win column on the road at rival Madisonville-North Hopkins on Friday, Sept. 15.
