Owensboro Red Devils logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (12/10/17) — Playing on a neutral floor, Lance Lewis tossed in a game-high 21 points to lead Owensboro past North Hardin 81-42 in the KY 811 Shootout at Daviess County High School on Saturday.

With the win, Owensboro improved to 2-2.

North Hardin dropped to 1-4 with the loss.

Dominant Owensboro owned a double digit lead at the conclusion of each quarter. The Red Devils outscored North Hardin 21-10 in the first quarter and then carried a 39-24 lead into halftime.

Adding to its lead after intermission, Owensboro outscored North Hardin 24-9 in the third quarter.

Five different Red Devils reached double figures in the scoring column as Jeron Tinsley tossed in 15 points, Klain Creamer netted 14 points, Taeron Hogg posted 13 points and Deonte Douglas added 10 points.

The Owensboro and North Hardin boys' basketball teams aren't slated to meet again during the current season.
