Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsMADISONVILLE, Ky. (1/6/18) — Madisonville-North Hopkins dipped back into the loss column as Friday night as visiting University Heights prevailed 77-59 in a mid-season boys' high school basketball game.

With the loss, Madisonville-North Hopkins slipped to 12-5.

University Heights, which led 37-26 at halftime, improved to 8-4 with the win.

Dekeyvan Tandy poured in a game-high 40 points to lead University Heights to the victory.

Taquan Hollowell joined Tandy in double figures for the Blazers, scoring 15 points.

Narrowly missing double figures, Drew McGowan added nine points for the Blazers in the win.

On its way to notching the 18-point victory, University Heights thrived late.

Ksuan Casey paced Madisonville-North Hopkins with 15 points.

Cade Cunningham and Kenny White accompanied Casey in double figures for the Maroons, scoring 13 points apiece.
