muhl mustangs1 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (1/10/18) — Nolan Davis scored a game-high 28 points to lead Muhlenberg County past visiting McLean County 78-51 in a boys' high school basketball game on Tuesday.

With the win, Muhlenberg County improved to 8-9.

McLean County dropped to 5-9 with the loss.

Will Nofsinger added 22 points for the Mustangs. Nofsinger scored the 1,000th point of his career during Muhlenberg County's victory.

The Mustangs started strong, outscoring McLean County 21-12 in the first quarter. Muhlenberg County led 47-32 at halftime and outscored McLean County 21-11 in the third quarter.

The Mustangs were 10-of-28 (38.5 percent) from 3-point range.

Keenan Smith paced McLean County with 13 points.

Logan Patterson accompanied Smith in double figures in the McLean County scoring column, posting 10 points.
