Owensboro Catholic logoCALHOUN, Ky. (1/21/18) — The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces rolled in the 3rd Region All "A" Classic semifinals at McLean County High School on Saturday, defeating the Hancock County Lady Hornets 72-34.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 15-4 and advances to the 3rd Region All "A" Classic championship game.

Hancock County dropped to 9-8 and was eliminated from the regional small-school tournament with the loss.

Hannah McKay led Owensboro Catholic with a game-high 21 points.

Mackenzie Keelin netted 11 points and Spencer Harvey added 10 points for the Lady Aces in the victory.

Defensively for Owensboro Catholic, Sarah Beth Clemens registered a game-high seven blocks.

Kassie Keown paced Hancock County with 13 points. Keown was the only Hancock County player to reach double figures in the scoring column.

Owensboro Catholic set the tone early. The Lady Aces led 38-24 at halftime and outscored Hancock County 22-2 in the third quarter.
