wc bbb logoSMITHLAND, Ky. (2/13/18) — Webster County enacted some revenge on Monday night, defeating host Livingston Central 38-33 in a late-season boys' high school basketball game.

With the win, Webster County improved to 16-9.

Livingston Central slipped to 16-12 with the loss.

Webster County, which notched its third straight win, enacted some revenge. Prior to Monday night's prep hoops clash, Livingston Central upended Webster County 67-63 in an early-season matchup on December 18.

The Trojans limited Livingston Central to 11 field goals in the latest meeting between the two longtime Second Region rivals.

Chatman Ellis and Ayden Winn led Webster County with 10 points apiece.

Dylan Sherer paced Livingston Central with 12 points. Sherer was the only Livingston Central player to reach double figures in the scoring column.
