Kentucky ThoroughbredsKANSAS CITY, Mo. (2/13/18) — The Kentucky Thoroughbreds fell on the road over the weekend as the host Kansas City Tornados pulled away to win 108-89 in North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) game on Sunday.

With the loss, Kentucky dropped to 5-6.

Kansas City improved to 4-7 with the win.

Five Kansas City players reached double figures in the scoring column. Kansas City standout Franklin Williams led all scorers with a game-high 25 points on a 6-for-12 3-point shooting effort.

Kevin Young (19 points), Grant Greenberg (16 points), Tyler Rambo (14 points), and Taveres Sledge (12 points) accompanied Williams in double figures for the Tornados.

Three players — Jody Hill (22 points), DeAngelo Stewart (20 points) and Darius Paul (15 points) — reached double figures for the Thoroughbreds in the setback.

Kentucky is slated to host Kansas City at 11 a.m. at the Owensboro Sportscenter on Wednesday.
