BowlingMADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/11/18) — It isn't too late to enter the Hopkins County United States Bowling Congress Association City Tournament. The upcoming tournament is set to be held March 17, 18, 24 and 25 at Melody Lanes Bowling Center in Madisonville.

Singles, doubles and team tournaments are open to members of the Hopkins County bowling association who have been sanctioned for the 2017-18 season for at least 15 days prior to the time of the tournament and participants are actively bowling in a league.

For the team event, a bowler may bowl as many times as possible, but at least two bowlers in the lineup must be different before the team can cash more than once.

Bowlers may also bowl as many as often in the doubles competition. However, a bowler can cash only once with the same partner.

A bowler may bowl as many times in the singles event, but can cash only once.

Entry fees for the tournament are $100 for a five-man team; $40 for doubles and $20 for singles.

The association will add a total of $250 to the prize fund for singles and doubles tournaments.
