Owensboro Catholic logo 325HAWESVILLE, Ky. (1/15/19) — Remaining on top among small-school girls' basketball teams, Owensboro Catholic dismantled Edmonson County 63-38 in the 3rd Region All "A" Classic title game at Hancock County High School on Monday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 12-6 and advances to the statewide All "A" Classic.

Edmonson County dropped to 12-7 with the loss.

Owensboro Catholic shot 50 percent (35-of-50) from the field. The Lady Aces were 5-of-14 (35.7 percent) from 3-point range.

Owensboro Catholic took a commanding 36-14 lead into halftime and added to its advantage in the second half.

MacKenzie Keelin led Owensboro Catholic with a game-high 16 points. Sarah Clemens netted 15 points and Hannah McKay added 14 points as Owensboro Catholic featured three scorers in double figures.

Defensively, Owensboro Catholic forced Edmonson County into committing 17 turnovers.

Chanley Logdson paced Edmonson County with a team-best 12 points.
