Rain 10 10 2HENDERSON, Ky. (10/10/17) — Heavy downpours in Henderson County has resulted in water over area streets.

Along Alvasia Street this morning, water could be seen up to the bumpers of cars. Drivers are also experiencing high water along the U.S. 41 N. Henderson strip.

The National Weather Service in Paducah issued a hazardous weather warning in portions of western Kentucky that included a severe thunderstorm warning for west central Henderson County at 10:44 a.m.

Storms with heavy rain are expected to continue through 8 p.m.
