farm w cowHENDERSON, Ky. (10/11/17) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announce it will hold a farmers meeting in conjunction with the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service at noon Thursday at the Extension Office, 3341 Zion Road in Henderson.

Important information will be discussed concerning plans to allow farm equipment to move along the Audubon Parkway with a police escort during the 18-ton load limit and one-lane traffic restriction along the U.S. 60 Green River bridge at Spottsville.

Farmers who normally move equipment across the Spottsville Bridge are encouraged to attend.

On a couple of other occastions as work on the bridge prohibited movement of farm equipment, special arrangments have been made to facilitate movement of farm equipment along the parkway, KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd said.

For more information, contact the UK Cooperative Extension Office at (270) 826-8387.
