Shooting 1 9

UPDATE: HENDERSON, Ky. (1/9/18) — A 28-year-old Louisville man was charged with attempted murder and first-degree wanton endangerment tonight following a shooting investigation at a Spring Garden Road home in Henderson.

Henderson Police Department reported William Johnson Jr. is accused of shooting Cecil Davis six times during an argument at Davis' home around 3:15 p.m. Detectives found Davis lying on his floor, and also found Johnson in the area of Spring Garden and Kentucky 351 after Davis stated that Johnson shot him.

Davis was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment, and then transferred to a hospital in Indiana, police indicated.

Johnson told police that he “shot a guy on Spring Garden and had a 9mm (pistol) in his waistband,” according to the report. “Johnson stated that he fired a warning shot outside the home and shot Davis also. Another shot missed Davis almost striking a maintenance man at the home.”
