Hend Black IceHENDERSON, Ky. (2/18/18) — Henderson authorities reported the twin bridges are shut down due to accidents.

Heavy fog likely played a factor and black ice has formed on the pavement.

At 6:43 a.m. today, there were reports of an accident with injuries on the southbound bridge. No word on whether anyone was injured due to an accident on the northbound side.

Henderson Police Department reported at 7:12 a.m. that state highway salt trucks are making their way toward the bridges.

Henderson Fire and Police departments, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office are at the scenes.
