drug investigation 02 300HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (10/8/18) — Authorities made several drug-related arrests recently following an investigation in the east end of Henderson.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies and detectives from Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force set up a methamphetamine transaction with a woman identified as 42-year-old Crystal Leith Jacoby of Henderson last month. She was headed to the Good Will Store off Green Street, when she was picked up by authorities.

Jacoby was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth-less than 2 grams). Authorities revealed the ongoing investigation could result in more arrests. Detectives reported seizing the apparent meth and money used for the purchase.

On Oct. 2, PNTF and HCSO deputies conducted surveillance in the 600 block of Washington Street, reporting they saw possible drug activity involving several individuals.

Deputies reported stopping a white Ford Crown Victoria as it left the area, driven by a 37-year-old woman pulling onto the U.S. 41-N strip. Officers discovered that a passenger, 60-year-old Robert Elliot of Henderson, had active warrants.

Elliot was charged with failure to appear on outstanding charges of public intoxication, second-degree disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault-domestic violence and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was additionally charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited and released.

Derrick Lee Evans, 37, was also charged with trafficking in several grams of a substance believed to be meth on Feb. 2. The transaction was reported to have taken place in the area of Leiber and Bailey streets. Evans was taken to jail on that warrant Wednesday.

Undercover agents continued the drug investigation Wednesday night along Washington Street, according to the report, that involved the arrest of 51-year-old Joshua Stott at his residence.

Detective Bill Mills indicated undercover officers conducted controlled buys of Xanax from Stott on two occasions.

Stott was charged with two counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than 10 dosage units).
