MyersHENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (1/16/19) — A Henderson man wanted on felony warrants was tasered after he allegedly ran from authorities Tuesday evening.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force had received information at 6:41 p.m. that R.C. Myers, 29, was at a South Alves Street location.

Deputies located Myers outside the residence, HCSO reported, and he attempted to flee on foot. A short pursuit came to an end after a deputy deployed a taser to stop Myers.

Myers was served three felony warrants including the charge of trafficking in meth and one misdemeanor warrant, and additionally charged with first-degree fleeing police.

He was being held in Henderson County Jail this morning, pending bond.
