ksp news 300EARLINGTON, Ky. (1/11/18) — A White Plains man faces DUI and drug-related charges following a Wednesday night traffic stop in Earlington.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 reported Trooper Brian Graves saw a driver identified as Ryan Lantrip, 35, in a Toyota Camry with one headlight traveling along South Lee Trover Todd Jr. Highway at 9:56 p.m. that prompted a traffic stop.

The trooper determined Lantrip was driving impaired, according to the report. After a search, police found marijuana, an open alcohol beverage and various pills.

He was taken to Hopkins County Jail on DUI, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and marijuana charges.
