arrest handcuffs words darkblue space300NORTONVILLE, Ky. (3/12/18) — A Nortonville man faces charges after a trooper answered a call at a foreclosed property in Nortonville over the weekend.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 reported Trooper John Eilert responded to a complaint at 4:33 p.m. Saturday regarding a man on a motorcycle attempting to steal a boat and trailer.

According to the report, the trooper spoke to David Harvey, 46, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was found to be in possession of a substance believed to be meth along with drug paraphernalia.

Harvey was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, third-degree trespassing and failure to notify address change to the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
