Two passengers in the vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Kali Vertigan of Slaughters, and Gevin Lemons, 26 of Nortonville, were also arrested and taken to Hopkins County Jail.

Keown was charged with first- and second-degree fleeing police, DUI, driving on a suspended or revoked license, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, first-degree possession of meth and cocaine, first-degree wanton endangerment of police, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Vertigan was served an outstanding arrest warrant, while Lemons was charged with public intoxication. Lemons was released from Hopkins County Jail Tuesday afternoon on his own recognizance.
