Daviess County HS logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/15/18) — Kailey Bowers nearly notched a triple-double as Daviess County defeated visiting Muhlenberg County 57-48 in a girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the win, Daviess County improved to 3-14.

Muhlenberg County dropped to 11-7 with the loss.

Bowers led Daviess County with 18 points, eight rebounds an eight assists.

Three Daviess County players reached double figures in the scoring column as Claire Johnson added 11 points an Emma Anderson netted 10 points.

The Lady Panthers outscored Muhlenberg County 19-9 in the fourth quarter to pull out a hard-fought win.

Daviess County drained nine 3-pointers in the victory.

Destin Armour led Muhlenberg County with a game-high 20 points. Narrowly missing double figures for the Lady Mustangs, Grace Hauslein netted nine points.
