MARSHALL COUNTY, KY. – Recently Mrs. Jill Boone, senior guidance counselor at Marshall County High School invited representatives from University of Kentucky, Brescia University, University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering, Mid Continent and Murray State University to visit the campus of MCHS. Each representative shared information about college life with the interested students. Students were also given the opportunity to begin the application process with representatives there to answer questions. Murray State accepted applications during their visit and students were able to find out that day if they had been accepted.
Mrs. Boone has also coordinated representatives from the SEMO, UK College of engineering at Paducah, University of Louisville, West Kentucky University, and Transylvania University. They will be visiting the campus in November.
In December West Kentucky Community and Technical College will be a MCHS to begin the admission process for interested students.
