principal 7 11 2017MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (7/11/17) — The Site Based Decision Making Council at Bremen Elementary has chosen Grant Sharp as their new principal.

Sharp began his teaching career at Bremen Elementary 12 years ago. He served as a fifth grade teacher, STLP coach and SBDM Council member. He has served as the head boys’ soccer coach at Muhlenberg County High School. In 2015, Sharp became the assistant principal at Greenville Elementary.

Being a part of the Bremen Elementary School family for several years, Sharp brings years of teaching and administrative experience with our students and faculty/staff. “I’m honored to be the principal at BES. It is such a great community and school,” said Sharp. “I look forward to working with all the faculty, staff, students, parents and community members.”

Sharp is a Muhlenberg County native and graduated from Muhlenberg North High School in 2001. He earned his teaching degree from Western Kentucky University in 2005 and a Master in Education Administration in 2009. Sharp and his wife, Brittany, have two children – Vince, 7 and Hattie, 2.
