boyd muhlCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (10/12/17) — A 38-year-old Central City man went to jail Monday night after police say he was causing a ruckus at a local restaurant.

Central City Police Department reported Sgt. Jason Lindsey responded at 7:55 p.m. to Sonic Drive-In to a report of a man being disruptive. Lindsey’s investigation revealed that Jason Boyd was under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance.

Boyd was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place – third or greater offense, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree terroristic threatening and first-degree possession of a controlled substance – first offense.

Boyd is being held in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
