gray arrestGRAHAM, Ky. (3/12/18) — Kentucky State Police Trooper Sgt. Jon McGehee charged a Louisville man with possession of cocaine after he stopped a vehicle for speeding yesterday afternoon on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

KSP said McGehee made a traffic stop at 2:25 p.m. March 11 on WKP near Graham, when he saw a 2015 black GMC Acadia speeding on the parkway headed east. When McGehee spoke with the driver, he reported smelling marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the driver, Lesean Gray, 27, was in possession of a substance believed to be cocaine.

When Gray was being processed at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, a deputy jailer reported finding a substance believed to be cocaine in Gray’s possession.

McGehee charged Gray with speeding 13 MPH over the limit, failure to wear seat belts, DUI, two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance/cocaine and first-degree promoting contraband.

Gray is being held in the MCDC.
