9383052 300x300 1BREMEN, KY., — Mary Belle Peddy, 83, of Bremen, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Peddy was born October 22, 1933, in Carbonhill, AL. She was an elder caregiver, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved to read, cooked the best breakfast, believed in God, and enjoyed family reunions with her sisters and extended family. Before moving to Bremen, Mary and her husband Jerry lived many years in Lowell, IN. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Alta Belle Williams and her husband Jerry Peddy.

She is survived by her sons Ray (Laura) Butler of Hoover, AL, Garry (Karla) Butler of Quinton, AL, Don (Kay) Peddy of Ankeny, Iowa, and Ronald (Brenda Kubin) Peddy of Bremen, grandchildren Josh (Olivia) Butler, Linda (Shaun) Butler Alvis, Lindsay (Eddy) Blockland, Hayley Peddy, Ryan Peddy, and Kelly Peddy, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Martha (Ray) Stephens of Quinton, AL, Anne (Jesse) Griffin of Moorman, and Jimmie Shell of Lowell, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 10am at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Indiana.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
