JAMES ALBERT SNYDERGREENVILLE, KY., — James ‘Jimmy’ Snyder, 80, of Greenville passed away March 9, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 9, 1937 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and an active member of Friendship Baptist Church in Greenville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandy O’Bannon.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Betty Snyder, a daughter Tammy (Billy) Pointer of Greenville, granddaughter April (Kyle) Noffsinger of Cadiz, KY, granddaughter Crystal (Glen) Travis of Central City, KY, granddaughter Amy (Seth) Walker of Greenville, KY, grandson Steven (Kristy) O’Bannon of Paducah, KY, great grandchildren Jagger Travis, Emily Noffsinger, Olivia Noffsinger, Austin Walker, Alex Noffsinger, Isaac Noffsinger, and Allie Noffsinger.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11am at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with the Rev. Kyle Noffsinger officiating, with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery in Greenville.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 5pm – 8pm and on Monday morning, March 12, 2018 until time of service at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
