28871111 2035304556741855 5195315526414368768 nOHIO COUNTY, Ky. (3/10/18) — Police are sharing surveillance photos from a bank robbery in Ohio County yesterday in hopes of identifying a man who entered the bank shortly before 10 a.m. Rewards are being offered.

Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said Central Dispatch received a 911 call from Commonwealth Community Bank in Centertown at 9:56 a.m. reporting a robbery there. OCSO, Kentucky State Police, Beaver Dam, Hartford and Centertown police departments responded to the scene.

Sheriff Tracy Beatty said a suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers. He then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

The man is described as a black male, approximately 6 foot tall weighing between 150-175 pounds having a medium build and short black hair. The man was wearing a black and burgundy hooded Reebok jacket, black bandana over his face and black pants, and was carrying a black Adidas duffle bag.

OCSO and Commonwealth Community Bank are both offering $500 cash rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the robbery.
